Day 1: arrival at Kigali International airport Kigali. You will be met and greeted by your Golden Rwanda Safaris driver-guide upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport. He or she will brief you on your safari before transferring you to your hotel for your overnight stay at Kigali Serena Hotel or at Governor’s residence private villa.
Day 2: Nyungwe Forest National Park Pick up in Kigali and drive to Nyungwe National park on the way visit Nyanza King palace and ethnographic museums, in the afternoon at 3 Pm do Canopy walk thereafter check-in at Nyungwe Top View Hill hotel.
Day 3: Nyungwe Forest National ParkAfter breakfast you will enter the Nyungwe forest to track the Nyungwe Chimpanzees tracking. A walk into the forest with our knowledgeable guides well versed in botany, ornithology, and interspecies relationships will be a whole new learning experience for you. You will return to the hotel for lunch relax at the hotel waiting for Colobus Monkey trekking, your overnight at the hotel. Accommodation: Nyungwe Top View Hill Hotel
Day 4: Nyungwe – KibuyeEarly in the morning you will head to Kibuye via Gisakura after the hikes of Nyungwe waterfalls. Along the way you will enjoy the thousands of beautiful green hills that make up our country as well as views of Kivu Lake. Your overnight will be at the Cormoran Lodge where you can access beach of Lake Kivu with view of sunset. Accommodation: Cormoran Lodge (Middle range).
Day 5: Kibuye – GisenyiToday you will transfer to Gisenyi by speed boat or by vehicle (the choice is yours). Along the way you will explore the wonderful views of the different islands along Lake Kivu and some of the Congolese hills. Your overnight will be at the Kivu Serena Hotel.
